Babette (Veronica Vialpando) and Lumière (Cory Cranford)
I made a trip back to Colorado and had the chance to see my nephew Cory Cranford in a Dakota Ridge High School rendition of “Beauty and the Beast”. The play was a big hit in Morrison and sold out 4 shows, with standing room only, in a 3 night span.
Cory Cranford: 9th Grade
Cory is a freshman this year at Dakota. He was in the recent production of Night of January 16th playing the role of James Chandler. Cory loves hanging out with friends and fencing. He would like to thank Ms. Urban, Mr. Monsma, the amazing cast and his ever faithful friends and family.
Veronica Vialpando: 12th Grade
Veronica is a voluptuous senior and is more than excited to play the role of Babette in Dakota Ridge High School’s of Beauty and the Beast. Past roles include Cassie Cooper in Rumors, Hot box Girl in Guys and Dolls, and Roz in Moon Over Buffalo. She enjoys adventurous nights spent with her great friends. She would like to make a shout out to her loving family.
Cory had a number of Solos (with a French accent no less) and Dance routines throughout the show.

Jennifer Arfsten: 9th Grade
Jenn is absolutely fired up and honored to be playing Belle as a freshman. Her previous role in her rookie year was District Attorney Flint in Dakotas’s Night of January 16th. She would like to thank God, her family, Ms. Urban, Mr. Monsma, and all her special inspirations.

Taylor Minckley played the roll of Gaston
Taylor Minckley: 11th Grade
A junior at Dakota Ridge, Taylor has been involved in theatre since his freshman year and has enjoyed roles as Big Julie in Guys and Dolls and Attorney Stevens in Night of January 16th, he also enjoys swimming, and diving.
