Sneak peak at Jessica and Phil’s wedding day slideshow. I started the day with Phil and his friends playing a round of Disc Golf in Huntington Beach. I think the guys stopped keeping score after the first tee. It didn’t start out pretty. The ringers Phil, Casey and Chris made it look easy. However, there was a moment when “Ringer” Chris took a header after launching his disc on the 7th hole tee box, and of course I had to document the aftermath. I was paid to do that Chris, sorry. After spending time with the guys I headed toward San Juan Capistrano to catch up with Jessica and her girls at Franciscan Gardens in the newly remodeled bridal room which made for some great getting ready shots of Jessica. The afternoon of makeup and hairdressing was filled with laughter and tears as Jessica was primped and pampered for her big day. As I shot the girls and the guys slowly arrived at the venue, my friend John Wohlfeil photographed the them through their ritual routine of guys playing pool, drinking beer and helping each other tie a full windsor. It looks like Phil did a couple himself. The time was upon us as Phil headed for his spot at the front of the congregation. Jessica’s father Dave entered the bridal room for the first time to view his beautiful daughter all dressed up and the tears couldn’t be held back as the two embraced. After a few moments alone Jessica and and her proud father took one of their most memorable walks together as father and daughter.

P.S. I love that moment when a father and daughter see each other for the first time on her wedding day. To have the opportunity to capture tears in his eyes is a heartwarming experience.

Phil and I are just back from our Honeymoon and I wanted to get on here and tell you how GREAT the first bunch of our photo’s turned out…you have honestly been nothing short of amazing throughout the whole wedding experience. From start to finish you helped us with s…o much, not only with ur wonderful photography, but you helped so much through out the day to help it run so much smoother. I do have to say that you are the best thing that happened to phil and I! LOL…Both of us cannot explain how grateful and thankful we were for you and your assistant on the day! Our parents and our friends have nothing but praise for you and your work, and I can tell you I will and would recomend you to anyone I know….TRUELY appriciative for you and your work and am SO thankful I met you some odd months ago at a bridal show….thank you SO much again Scott! Words cannot explain what a great person and great photographer you really are!
Scott, I will never be able to adequately express in words how much your contribution to the success of my daughter Jessica’s Wedding means to me and to her. Your photography skills and designing talent and abilities are truly a gift and I’m SO thankful we found you to capture her wedding in photos. Beyond that, I appreciate your consideration, heart, and concern for her and our family. You are AMAZING! I can’t wait to see you at the wedding of whichever of her friends should marry next.
